Standard online patient scheduling rules for Dok2Me are stated below. Providers/physicians using the platform may have additional/modified rules.
a. Clinic hours are limited to the days and times displayed on the platform. It may change without prior notice depending on physician’s availability.
b. Please note that we may not be able to assist patients who arrive in the online consultation after their appointed time.
c. If you are unable to keep an appointment, for whatever reason, please contact your physician by email a minimum of 24 hours ahead of time to reschedule or cancel your appointment to allow another patient the opportunity of being seen at that time.
d. Refunds for patients who do not show up during the appointed time are not allowed. They may be allowed in special cases subject to the discretion and approval of the physician
e. As regulations for online consultations are not yet fully clarified, insurance/HMO cards are not yet accepted as methods for paying for the online consultation.
f. Please remember to bring all appropriate medical records. You may be asked to provide medical records and identification to the physician. The platform does not process, accept, store or transmit any of these records or information. They are sent directly by you to your physician.
g. This is an online patient scheduling platform. In cases of medical emergencies, you or your patient should be brought to the nearest medical facility.
All pages within this Site and any material made available by Ticket2Me under the brand name Dok2Me are the property of Ticket2Me, or its licensors or suppliers, as applicable. The Site is protected by Philippine and international copyright and trademark laws. Site Contents, including any materials accessed through or made available for use or download through the Site (“Content”) may not be copied, distributed, modified, reproduced, published or used, in whole or in part, except for purposes authorized or approved in writing by Ticket2Me. You are not allowed to frame or use framing techniques to enclose, or deep link to, any name, trademarks, service marks, logo, Content or other proprietary information (including; images, text, page layout, or form) of Ticket2Me or Dok2Me without our express written consent. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any material you post in any third party platform used by Providers are yours/theirs alone and you are solely responsible for that content.
Any healthcare provider using the Site (“Provider”) must comply with all laws, medical or other board rules, or other rules and regulations applicable to you as a healthcare provider or other professional using the Site. Your relationship with the Dok2Me users (including your patients/clients) is directly between you and the patient. The patient will never have a physician-patient relationship with Dok2Me. Dok2Me does not practice medicine or any other licensed profession and offers no medical or other professional services. As set forth more fully below, Provider is solely responsible for all agreements, consents, notices and other interactions with patients and other consumers.
The Provider will use the Site and Services only in accordance with applicable standards of good professional practice. While software products such as the Site and Services can facilitate and improve the quality of service that Provider and its personnel offer to patients, many factors, including the provider/patient relationship can affect a patient outcome, and with complex and interdependent technologies, decision-making it is often difficult or impossible to accurately determine what the factors were and in what proportion they affected an outcome.
Provider shall be solely responsible for its use of the Site and Services, and the provision of services to Provider’s patients. In this regard, Provider releases Ticket2Me/Dok2Me and waives all potential claims against Ticket2Me/Dok2Me as a result of the Provider’s use of the Site and Services, and the provision of services to Provider’s patients. As a result of the uncertainties and risks inherent in the patient care process, Provider agrees to defend, indemnify and hold Ticket2Me/Dok2Me harmless from any claim by or on behalf of any patient of Provider or its personnel, or by or on behalf of any other third party or person claiming damage by virtue of a familial or financial relationship with such a patient, which is brought against Ticket2Me/Dok2Me, regardless of the cause if such claim arises for any reason whatsoever, out of the use or operation of the Site and Services.
To the extent applicable, Provider will obtain Ticket2Me/Dok2Me’s prior written consent to any settlement or judgment in which Provider agrees to or which otherwise provides or implies any finding of fault of Ticket2Me/Dok2Me or any defect in the Site or Services. Ticket2Me/Dok2Me will promptly notify Provider in writing of any claim subject to this indemnification, promptly provide Provider with the information reasonably required for the defense of the same, and grant to Provider exclusive control over its defense at Providers expense. Ticket2Me reserves the right to appear and defend any actions in which it is named as a party. Provider agrees to pay and reimburse Ticket2Me’s costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) incurred in connection with such a suit.
You consent to receive communications from us electronically. You agree that all agreements can be entered into and signed electronically in accordance with applicable law, and all notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such notice or other communications be in writing.
You are prohibited from using any scraper, crawler, spider, robot or other automated means of any kind to access or copy data on the Site, deep-link to any feature or content on the Site, bypass our robot exclusion headers or other measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Site.

Ticket2Me/Dok2Me does not censor Provider Content but does reserve the right (but not the obligation) to monitor and edit or remove any Provider Content submitted to the Site. You grant Ticket2Me/Dok2Me the right to use the name that you submit in connection with any Provider Content. Telemedicine is the use of telephone, cellphone, computer or electronic gadget that will enable me as a patient to communicate with my doctor/s for the purpose of diagnosis, treatment, management, education and follow-up care when a face-to-face consultation is not possible. Telemedicine consultations may involve live two-way audio and video, patient pictures, medical images, patient’s medical records and other things that may be pertinent to the consultation.
Electronic systems will utilize network and software security protocols to protect patient identity, privacy and confidentiality and to safeguard data and prevent corruption of data against intentional or unintentional corruption. By participating in this teleconsultation, I acknowledge that a physician-patient relationship is formed at my request.
It was explained to me by my doctor that a video conferencing technology will be used to conduct a telemedicine consultation. I understand that as in the face-to-face consultation, I will be asked to give my history, share my laboratory test and imaging results and other documents pertinent to my concerns. Moreover, I may be asked to show certain body parts as may be considered important to form a diagnosis. This is in view of the fact that my doctor will not be in the same room as I am and would not be able to perform the necessary physical examination on me.
Through the use of telemedicine, I will obtain a medical evaluation and impression of my condition. I may receive guidance on monitoring my condition and the next steps to do should my condition change, specific prescription on what to take, instructions on what laboratory and imaging tests to do.
I understand there are potential risks in using this technology, including technical difficulties, interruptions, poor transmission of images leading to misdiagnosis and consequently mistreatment, no access to paper charts/medical records, delays and deficiencies due to malfunction of electronic equipment and software, unauthorized access leading to breach of data privacy and confidentiality. All consultations are considered confidential but given the nature of technology, I understand that despite using appropriate measures, my doctor cannot guarantee the safety of my personal data from data hacking. Therefore I cannot hold my doctor liable for any data that may be lost, corrupted, destroyed or intercepted or the illegal use of my data arising from a breach in security.
I agree to share my personal data with the clinic or hospital staff of my doctor in order to facilitate scheduling of my consultation and for billing purposes. I agree not to record in video or audio format nor divulge the details of my consultation in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
I have the right to: (1) ask non-medical staff to leave the telemedicine consultation room; (2) terminate the telemedicine consultation and the physician-patient relationship at anytime; (3) obtain a copy of the information obtained and recorded during the telemedicine consultation; and (4) be assisted by a family member or caregiver in the set-up of the telemedicine at home and to answer some questions.
The clarity of the images, audibility of the sound, the speed of the internet, the presence of background noise all affect the quality of the telemedicine consultation. Physical examination as done in the usual face-to-face consultation is not possible and is therefore a big limitation to the process of making a diagnosis. In case of an urgent concern: It is my doctor’s responsibility to refer me to the nearest hospital in case he deems my concern to be urgent and would warrant immediate action and management by doctors. My doctor’s responsibility ends with the conclusion of the telemedicine consultation.
